I used to have dinner by myself. That was the reason not to have Korean barbecue. If you go to Korean barbecue with myself,that is similar to cooking by myself, which is very boring.

However, recently I got a friend to visit me. She can come with me to have Korean barbecue. Then that won’t be boring. We can cook the meats together while we are chatting.

So, a few weeks ago, we went to Obaltan in the city to have a Korean barbecue with a friend.  It was a very nice and comfortable restaurant, which is very good to have a catch up with friends.  We had a good time in there and spent around  two hours chit-chatting in there.

Moreover, the food in there is great too! Firstly, a set of Korean side dishes arrived, such as sweet potato and Korean kimchi. They are very tasty!!!

Just after a little while, our main dishes arrived: Sweet Soy Chicken and Pork Neck Meat. They are good too! Moreover, they were using the Charcoal to cook it.  This is very authentic!

I love it! Moreover, the price is not too expensive. That was a dinner for two people and the final price tag is around $38. That is reasonable.

I will come to this restaurant  again.

This is a six people size seafood platter.Actually, that is what I and my friends had for lunch last Sunday. Moreover, That was huge . It had baby octopus, fish, beer battered chips and salad. It was enough to feed us(a group of nine people). Lastly, the price is just $88.90 in total. That is super value!

Traditionally our Chinese do yum cha in the morning. But around twenty years ago, there were a lot of restaurants that provided nighttime yum cha. At that time, that was very popular, because it was cheaper than having a dinner in a restaurant.
Well, nowadays, Hong Kong people are more prefer to have hot pot rather than night time yum cha.
However, in Brisbane, a lot of Chinese love to have night time yum cha, because that is cheaper than having a dinner in a restaurant. I also  do nighttime yum cha some times. The most recent one was on last Sunday. I went to Parkland Chinese Restaurant. I ate a various kinds of yum cha, such as pawn dumplings and custard  bun. They were tasty! I enjoyed the food that night.

I went to ikea for lunch this week. This times, i had a different kind of meal rather than fish and chips. I had a chicken penne pasta. That is quite creamy which i like. Moreover, it only costs $5.95.

Besides of that ,this is something more interesting. That is frozen yogurt which is new to IKEA. This kind of yoghurt taste like ice cream,but that is less fat than ice cream. Lastly,it only costs $2. That is cheaper than other places. I like it!

Fish & Chips is a famous dish in England. However, that is very famous in Australia too. I think that is because our Australia got a long coastal line and clear water.
Sometimes, I have fish and chips. My recently favor is Kiss My Fish in Rochedale. That is very tasty. Moreover, that is very value for money. There is a lunch specials for $9.90.

It won’t cost you much, please don’t think it comes with a small portion of food.  It has a full size fish fillet, salad and chips. Moreover, it  bundled with a can of soft drink! That is a very good deal!
