In the most of situations, you need to pay more than other Asia countries for getting a same thing. But that is not the case for coffee. In Hong Kong, you can get a cup coffee in Starbucks or Pacific Coffee for around HKD$35(~$4). In there, that is around $4, nearly the same price. Maybe, in Hong Kong, normally, we will buy a cup of coffee and sit in the coffee shop for one or two hours. That needs to add the cost of occupying the space for two hours.
Well, back to the key point, which place has better coffee, Brisbane or Hong Kong? I think Brisbane’s Coffee tastes better. I have not drunk a cup of coffee in Brisbane for a while, because I traveled to Hong Kong. Today, I had a coffee at the Coffee Club in Fortitude Valley. I found that is so great, that is even better than five stars hotels in Hong Kong!
So, I love the coffee in Brisbane more!!!

IKEA has a new food offer. From 3pm every day, small meatballs, fish and chips and a warm Tuscan salad will be only sold at $3.
Last Friday night, I tried this offer. I have ordered a plate of fish and chips. That is so tasty. Moreover, because I am a IKEA member , I got a free coffee. That is value for money!

I like Hong Kong Dessert. As far as I know, there is only one Hong Kong Style Dessert Shop in Sunnybank Plaza. That is not enough. I wish there will be more choices. Moreover, we have a number of Hong Kong Style restaurant, why isn’t there a huge demand on Hong Kong Style Dessert? Even a lot of Local Australia have known about out Red Bean Soup.
I am from Hong Kong. Recently, cafe becomes popular in Hong Kong.But I and my friends from Brisbane are prefer the coffee from Brisbane. Moreover, I think Brisbane has a coffee culture. But I think the coffee beans in Brisbane and Hong Kong are same.
Peking Duck is a famous dish from Beijing. I had this kind of dish in Hong Kong a number of times, even I cannot remember the actual number at all! Those peking ducks are not as delicious as the one I had a restaurant in Brisbane, Pine & Bamboo Peking Restaurant.
A number of friends have recommended this restaurant to me, but I had not chances to try their peking duck before. Last month, finally, I had a chance to have a dinner in there! Well, that is very good! I have not been disappointed at all!
Before I talk about their duck, I wish to talk about their staff’s skill. They are highly skilled! I saw a staff cutting the skin out of duck! That is a kind of performance! It looks a dance!
Looks! The skin is so thin!!!Moreover, that is very very tasty too!!! Moreover, if it serves with sweet bean sauce, that will more tasty.
That is not just duck skin. They used duck meat to serve with lettuce cups. It calls “sang choy bow”. It is delicious!
Both dishes impressed me a lot. I believed they are more authentic than those I had in Hong Kong. Maybe, Hong Kong is developing too fast. It cannot keep the authentic Chinese traditional dishes.

I like Brisbane International Airport. There is a lot of open space and is not full of shops. Moreover, there are some art works to represent Australia. There is a art work I like most. This is Wool Cutting Sculpture. Australia produces a lot of good wool. We have a lot of famous wool product brand names, such as UGG. Thus, I think this sculpture is very suitable to represent Australia!
Last week, we went to Big Gun Resturant for dinner again. This times is a bit special. We was having a Peking Duck. This is one of the most famous Chinese dishes. Normally, that is quite expensive, but Big Gun Restaurant got a special, that is $38. The price is quite fair. They used the duck to make two dishes.
The first one is the duck skin. The staff was cutting the duck skin off. And putting it on a rice pancake with some sweet bean sauce. That is quite delicious.
The second one is very simple. The staff cut the duck body into pieces. Then you can enjoy the duck meat. That is quite good and a lot of meat. We have enjoyed a big dinner!

Today is Chinese New Year Day. First things I wish to say, Happy Chinese New Year and have a great year of Dragon. By the way, yesterday, I saw there was a performance for creating ice sculpture.
Look! That seems to create an ice dragon. But I got an appointment, I cannot wait for finishing of that ice sculpture.

On Monday(23/1/2012), that is the Chinese New Year’s day. But Sunnybank Plaza has started their Chinese New Year Program. At 3pm today, I went to Footcourt in Sunnybank plaza. There was Loin & Dragon Dance Performance. A lot of people were watching in there. That is not just our Chinese, there are a number of Australian too! Everyone is very enjoy in there. We can experience the joy of Chinese New Year!
Moreover, Loin Dance is very cool! Those two loins both look like very young , they are full of energy. They kept to run and jump around the foodcourt! After the Loin Dance, that is the showtime of Dragon! That is a shiny blue dragon! That looks beauty. In Hong Kong, we only have those golden dragon. That is my first times to see a blue dragon dance. That is cool!
Well, there is a chance. On 3pm Tomorrow(22/1/2012) , there will be another session of performance.
