I found there are Asian Style Bakeries around the Sunnybank area, such as BreadTop. Most of them are Taiwanese and Japanese Style, but there are not many Korean style bakery in Brisbane. As far as I know, there is only one Korean Style Bakery in Indooroopilly.

Well, this week, when I had a haircut in Sunnybank Hills Shoppingtown, I found that there is a Korean bakery, New York Baguette. There are many, many choices of buns available. Moreover, I bought a custard bun which is very tasty! I will try other breads next times! That is so cool!

Christmas is coming

A few days ago ,i saw Calamvale Central has some Christmas Decorations. Yes,Christmas is coming!!! That is about two months time. It is the time to remember Jesus born. Well,there is a long holidays too. Most of companies will close their offices about two to three weeks around Christmas and new years period . And most of people will choose to spend their time for a getaway break . Therefore, if you choose to travel during that period ,you have to book your holidays as soon as possible. And you need to prepare all air tickets and accommodation will cost much much more than normal !!!
For me,i will go to church. Maybe, i will travel with my friends to gold coast or sunshine coast for a day trip. Well i will avoid any travels which need to fly or stay over night during that period !

Tax Return Deadline – 31 Oct

E-Tax lodgement deadline is 31st October, that is next Wednesday. That is about a week time. Please do your tax return as soon as possible, unless you plan to use a tax agent. Normally, their deadline is than the usual 31 October deadline.  Anyway, if you already have all documents in place, why you do not complete that as soon as you can!

A great dinning tour

Yesterday we had a lot of tasty food. For lunch we went to Margon at Redcliffe for oysters and fish and chips. That costed a fair bit ….. A luxury lunch !

For afternoon tea, we went a coffee club near a beach which was great and relaxing. I had a cup of cappuccino and  was enjoy fresh air. That is cool.

At dinner time, we went back to sunnybank . We had our dinner in a taiwanese restaurant ,Glamorous work. That is tasty!!! Moreover , the dishes are quite creative and an ordinary traditional taiwanese food. They keep to update their menu. A staff told us there will be a brand new menu around second half of next month

Mid-Season Sale @ Myer

I got some spare time during my lunch break today. I went to Myer and found there is Mid Season Sale  running. A lot of good stuff!For example, $100Off for some apple computers, $700 something for ultra-book. But the offer interested me is 50%off for Polo Shirt. Well, I am still in my plan for saving money. I won’t buy anythings at all.

All You Can Eat Hot Pot @The Manor Chinese Restaurant

My friend told me The Manor Chinese Restaurant has a $25 All You Can Eat Hot Pot Package. There are unlimited sacks,dim sum and meats & vegetables for hotpot provided. Moreover, if you have 6 people or more in a group, your group can have a free mud crab and abalone. That sounds like a good deal. I am organizing a group to go there now!

QCCC tambourine

QCCC tambourine

Last weekend, I went to our Church Camp at QCCC Tambourine. That is a very very great camp site. We lived in the house above. Every room has its own toilet and showers. We did not need to walk outside from the room in the cold weather.

There is a huge grass area. You can run around in there and play some ball games.

Moreover, A lookout is nearby too, only 5-minute-walk. The view is amazing! Lastly, this is a chance to have some fresh air outside of my busy life. I had some time to rest during last weekend.

P.S. the best way to go there from Brisbane is using Pacific Highway and exit at the Oxenford / Sanctuary Cove exit (exit 57). Then follow the signs to Tamborine Mountain via Tamborine Oxenford Road. The route is the easiest to drive.

Moon festival

Moon festival Dinner

Today is Chinese Moon Festival, so we had some celebrations.  I went to dinner at a church brother’s home with other Brothers and Sisters from our fellowship. There is a big dinner, and  some chit chat time after dinner with non-stop laughing.  I was worrying the next door will complain us…… Anyway, that is very fun.

Lastly, we followed our Chinese Custom to celebrate Moon Festival. They had some moon cakes. Well, I don’t like moon cake so much, but today is Moon Festival. I should have some…..

Rainy day at mount tamborine

We were quite dry in Brisbane, nother much rain last month. Yesterday , i went to church camp in mount tamborine and the whole night was raining. That is the most wet day during this month.
That is a great. The rain stopped.This morning, that get cooler and the air is fresher. I feel we get back to the early winter.

Brisbane Airport International Lantern Garden @ Brisbane Festival

Brisbane Festival is just about City of Lights. There are other great events, such as Brisbane Airport International Lantern Garden  in Southbank Culture Forecourt. They have around hundreds of Chinese Laterns! That looks like a thousand of stars in sky. Very cool!

By the way, Brisbane Festival is going to end soon. Tonight will have last three shows of City of Lights. Moreover, tomorrow 7pm, at Brisbane River, there will be firework with F18. That will be very very cool! According to my memory, this year will be the first year featuring F18. Please not miss out!
