Tomorrow, that is the final of IKEA Sale. According to the information in their website, there will be further price cut! Also, the breakfast has discount too. From 7.30am to 9am, they will provide $1 breakfast! That is very attractive. Also, IKEA will open earlier tomorrow at 8am.

Today is a holiday, that is ANZAC Day, which is a national day of remembrance in all Australians and New Zealanders who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations.
I think the most appropriate activity is watching the ANZAC Parade. There are many service men and women taking part. Also, the ex-service men and women since War World II are in the parade squadron.
That is a good activity to learn Australian History.
Besides this activity, actually many other activities you can, the most of stores won’t open to allow their staff for watching the Parade. If you want to do some shopping today, you will be disappeared.
For the activities you can do during the ANZAC day, maybe, that is good to have a good walk in a national park. There are many beautiful national parks around Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast. Some of my friends went out to a national park today for having some fresh air.
Rather than those activities, I think this is having a break at home. This activity is I and my wife chosen.
Yesterday, I visited a special Mcdonald’s Restaurant in Underwood. It looks different from the standard Mcdonald’s restaurant setting, no cashier counters, instead of a big touch screen computer to order. Moreover, it has a open kitchen which you can see the staff to make salads and burgers and all tables and chairs are more cafe-style. It looks like a cafe or a “Burger” bar. I think this kind of restaurants settings are design for the new product of McDondald, create your taste burgers which is your own build burgers. The kind of higher end of interior design is for higher end customer.
Also, I love the sauces bar, which has chilli and tomato sauces. The most important feature is the free water! I can drink this rather than soft drink!
When your order is ready, a staff will deliver the food to your table, you don’t need to pick them up at the counter like other Mcdonalds.
This Mcdonald’s has those advanced features, but their menu is same as other Mcdonald’s and in the same prices!

Today, that is Good Friday. The most of stores are closed. The Shopping mall is not a good place to spend time during Good Friday. Of course, the best event during Good Friday is the Good Friday Service at churches. Good Friday is not about relaxing. That is the date of Jesus took the penalty for us. Our Church Good Friday Service is at the Evening. For the afternoon, there is another event, Bluewater Festival at Shorncliffe. There are some live music, rides and market. Also, today is the date for re-opening Shorncliffe pier. I think that should be fun!
I am waiting for the grand opening of UNIQLO Brisbane Store in Queen Street Mall for months. I love their causal wear, they are very good quality! Finally, according to their website , the store will open at 10 am 22nd March 2016. Moreover, the opening ceremony will have Japan Drummers to preform and first 500 customers will have a free water bottle as a gift. Lastly, there will be some opening discount offers such as $29.90 for Men’s and Women’s Flannel Shirt and $59.90 for Men’s light down vest.
In addition, from the outside of the store, the store should have two stories. That is not a small shop. I think you will have a plenty of space to shop!

The receiver of Dick Smith has announced they will close down all dick smith stores, including IT Gadget Store, Move. Last night, I went to Move in Garden City. In the store front, there is a post said “Last 4 days”. This store will be closed very soon. When I entered the store, I found the store was quite empty, most of stocks are gone. And even the furniture has the sticker “sold”. The store was selling a few display stocks with 40% off.
However, this store will be closed very soon, I think some of them will be closed soon, but not every store. I went to Dick Smith in Garden City too. There are a few stocks, I think this store can last a little while.
Yesterday, I went to Masters at Brown Plains. I found there are a lot of goods are on a big discount! All plants are 10% to 50% and All curtains are 50% off. There are a lot of other discounted goods, such as $3 solar garden light. There are a lot of good stuff, I think that is worth to go there! Maybe, you can find some good bargains. However, I saw a lot of racks are empty too, that sounds not many new stocks to re-supply.
This week, the receiver of Dick Smith has announced all dick smith stores will be closed down because they cannot find a buyer. There will be 3000 workers to lose their job.
Also, in the meantime, there are some further discounts on the stock, they wish to clean up their stocks. The most of stocks have at least 20% off, some of them having 50% off. That is a good deal.
This afternoon, I went to Sunnybank Dick Smith. The most of stocks are gone! However, there are still something good, such as some high-end logitech keyboard around $80, it got 20%off (all keyboards and mouse have 200%off) Moreover, GPS are good, 20% off! Tomorrow, I will go to garden city dick smith for checking out any kindle offer!
Yesterday, I went to hakataya for dinner. I saw there was a poster about their 20th anniversary. In the poster, to celebrate this, tomorrow (13/2) from 11am, they will offer a free ramen in their all stores included City, Garden City and Sunnybank Plaza Store. Next Monday, that is Chinese Lunar New Year. There are some events to celebrate that, such as Asian Markets and Chinese New Year parade. Both of them are a part of BrisAsia Festival. Although this festival is not just about Chinese Lunar New Year, many of events are in China Town Mall and will be held around Chinese New Year period around 8 Feb and 12 Feb.
